I just finished Takopii, it was fine. I feel like I've seen/read a decent amount of animanga that explores similar themes so I didn't take anything new out of it. Damn idk how to feel about the new gundam series... It doesn't feel newbie friendly because you need prior knlowdege of new types and who ever Char is. The older characters showing up feel nothing like they do in the og UC timeline, even Char. So it's not really appealing to me, a long time fan. The clan battles in the long run don't seem very important either, mostly filler. The way they animated the fight scenes looks like they mashed a bunch of action figures together. I really don't like how they turn the newtype abilities into a look that feels like it belongs in the LSD Dream emulator. We're almost half way through the season and it just doesn't feel very focused for me.
